1. What is 3D printing?
3D printing is a means of printing objects in three dimensions. This is a type of additive manufacturing. Using materials such as plastic and resin, we are able to transform an idea and bring it into the three dimensional world.
Starting with a three-dimensional computer model, we then use software to slice the model into a multitude of fine layers. This is interpreted by the printer as a serious of movements that build up to the final form.
2. What materials do you print with?
We print with a wide range of plastics including ABS, TPU, PLA, PVB, PETG, and ASA. We also offer resin printing in high-detail, tough, and translucent options. In addition, we offer a variety of composite plastics, which include metal and carbon fiber infused. We are also happy to work with specific materials that a customer may request. To limit the environmental impact of our business, we are proud to offer primarily recycled filaments and eco- friendly packaging material!
3. What objects can be 3D printed?
Just about anything you can think of! Some examples include replacement car parts, prototypes, ring boxes, dice, miniatures, planters, and much more. For inspiration, feel free to check out our gallery of Previous Prints.
4. Are there any restrictions as to what can be printed?
We analyze all models for printability based on a variety of factors such as size, complexity and fine details. Some fine details below 0.5 mm may not be fully printable. Currently our maximum size of a single object is 340mm in any dimension. Please note, we do not print weapons or religious iconography.
